Baroque menuet

Here is a small easy piece, composed about a year ago in a traditional baroque manner. It is called "Menuet" and can be played on the piano or harpsichord. The main subject of inspiration for me were famous pieces from "Clavier-Büchlein for Anna Magdalena Bach" and numerous works of Bach contemporaries. I'm planning to write a suite for harpsichord, so this piece will be a part of my future work.

Nothing bad about this post, loved the trill though sounded joyous almost baroque-ish!

Very good form!

I don't know a lot about baroque pieces, but this definitely sounds from the period. Nice job.

I notice a chord at the very end. Is this part of a suite?

No, no, it was just a little mistake in midi-file, I have posted it again without it. Thank you for the notice!

The piece is written in form, which is very typical for baroque dances. It consists of:

1. Menuet I, written in binary form with the repeating (da capo) of the first section, and
2. Menuet II, or Menuet-double which is an example of classic binary form.
The first dance then goes da capo.

Nothing special about the form or the piece in whool, just an easy, traditional menuet, my first attempt in writing baroque dance music!
