Thank you. It is for a
freeware adventure game. This is why I'm not getting paid! I don't take money from people who don't make money. Yes I do get paid for my services and I work in commercial games. Thank you for believing in me.

I could not feel a strong theme, a strong emotion that took me to any particular place in my memories or in my mind.
This is what I think a great piece of music should do. Help the listener to get in touch with what ever emotion you are trying to convey through your music. Your use of orchestra is impressive though. Some parts it seemed you were doing off harmonies and dissonances for the sake of it, not really adding to the emotion of the song. Some of them were jolting and my ear said" No no." *laughs* I just didn't feel it. I am not trying to bash ya, again very impressed with your control over the orchestra!
Keep it up though!

No problem mate!

I don't mind your post at all. I would like to dissagree with you, though.
This track was written with the heart and ears in mind. Dissonances were not put there, because of any compositional techniques and this is not an exposition of compositional techniques gathered together. It was written in the piano (which is something I rarely do, btw).

I do think that it has very nice harmonic movement and the melody is also worthwhile (if I can say so myself :p)

Thanks. No, it's on a beach, with a male and a female.

It is an adventure game, as I mentioned above.
But, no, I love doing music for games, and I wouldn't like doing music for films so much. I'm a game composer (along with concert hall composer as well), not a film composer! And I don't support any kind of "this is too good for a game"... I don't mind you saying that, and I'm flattered, just mentioning that I want to make the best damn music that I can for computer games. But I do understand what you mean.
