Ooookay, all these disparaging comments about Beethoven need to stop about 5 days ago.. I just find it comical.

"Yeah I don't think the 5th symphony is that good"

Does anyone else find this funny.

Actually, I love the 5th symphony....I've listened to the first movement many, many times, and I am still impressed with it every hearing. I think we tend to overlook it because it's so recognized/famous. It is popular for a reason, though....it's just amazing

*listens to Beethoven's 5th symphony*

I enjoy it. Get sick of it quickly though. Heard of it too much.

Extremely well written! Infact, each and every time you listen you find more and more things. It's a shame people have ruined it.

Either way, the whole piece is just four notes! It's very easy to get bored when it's only four notes.

If you think the piece is only 4 notes you're kind of missing the point. And for shame, as a composer you should know better.

I was being sarcastic.

If you didn't know I was being sarcastic, you should have at the least picked up on the contradiction:

The one motif that connects the pieces IS three notes.
