well, since I dislike "best of" threads, I'll include another choice as a "favorite" concerto:
Henri Dutilleux - Concerto for cello
On the subject of cello concerti, I also particularly love the Barber cello concerto, and the Schostakowitch concerti.
I'm trying to remember another one.. and for the life of me I can't remember... is it the Delius? or Elgar? Which one of those two wrote a beautiful cello concerto? God help me if both did! I'll never find out then!!!!
