One of these days I'll spend some time on a fugue...when I get really bored . I once got so bored I wrote an entire piano concerto in 3 days so I'm sure I can do a fugue. Needless to say, the piano concerto was not very good and it was in a very classical style (much easier to imitate...requires less thought), but I could spend a couple days on a fugue. Maybe I will, JUST FOR YOU, Jeremy

Speaking of boredom, I remembered I had this concerto I wrote in literally 3 days. I was at my cottage up in canada, and...there was nothing to do. So that plus 2 4-hour car rides = 1 piano concerto movement in 3 days! I think CreationArtist stole the ritornello from this one, so its already posted here somewhere, but yeah, here's Boredom Concerto in C major . You'll also notice its in an obscenely and mockingly classical style

Both the fugues and this piano concerto you have here are amazing. They are very conventional with little renewments in form and style. But give the time you wrote them in this is truly amazing. Watch your feet nico, but in my opinion you realy have an amazing talent.

I have a suggestion for more movements in the concerto. You should make mov. 2 insanely Romantic, mov. 3 modern and/or dissonant, and mov. 4 mockingly baroque, or something like that.

ermm...well the Zarathustra Overture is 16 minutes and I spent months on that...it's in Major Works and I finished it in october. I don't really like how it came out, though. I think its redundant sometimes and it could be a bit more blatant. I like subtle development a little too much, so I would listen with a score. I'll be posting a few other works in the months to come, though. Thanks for the interest!

I'm not a fan of mediocre work, and much less using boredom as an excuse to compose as A: if I'm composing I'm not bored, B: it sounds really like you don't give a shit.

If you're not going to dedicate time to make something you're proud of and settle for the LOLZ, just don't write anything then. Save your energy (and everyone's time) for when you really want to write something.

It would be helpful if you posted scores for these things too, and maybe say a little other than "LOL I WAS BORED HERE IS SOME MUSIC!" As usual, your presentation leaves a lot to be desired. You already posted it, so why halfass? Come on.
