"Cat's play!" for orchestra

Hi all!

Here is the latest orchestration of one of my short piano pieces: Cat's play:

Cat's Play!

best wishes,

very nice sounding orchestration. The ideas in the piece all seem very connected..however, you could do more in the way of transitions and extending the piece. This piece sounds like it could be much much longer and develop a lot more. Great sounding start though

I could make it longer, of course, but it is actually part of a group of 6 short pieces. I orchestrated 3 of them and are working on the 4th now.

Very nice!
Sounds like something the properly performed can be a WB animation score.
In those little breaks, I'd consider waiting a bit longer to create a pause with a fermata feel.
Looking forward to hearing the final version.

Omri.

What I didn't like were the transitions. Those sudden tutti outbursts were getting annoying. Fix it and it could go great for a cartoon.

Funny that so many people tell me that it could be used for a cartoon. It is in fact the 2nd movement of a suite that has 6 movements. Every piece has its own mood.
