Hello everyone, i had a sudden burst of inspiration with this one, and quickly wrote this half of a piece, and so i didnt really think about structure and also i have lost direction, i want to return the main theme but i am not sure how.

what do think should be done ? any suggestions or comments at all ?

Hey. It's quite a nice piece - there's some Irish-y reference in places which is nice Your use of range is good as well and I like the developments within the piece already. Maybe to lengthen the piece before modulating to your Cmaj part: after the last phrase of the first section, make a bar of Cmaj and then go back to Dmaj and then have some kind of repeat of the section already written. Form of A,A1,B,Coda for example.

Like the gliss at the end!! Look forward to seeing the finished product.
