Chain variations

Lets play chain variations, each person adds a variation, 4 bars long, on the theme I have given, start simply and let it grow more complex every time.

Person 1 should name it "Variation 1", person 2:"Variation 2" and so forth.

By the way, Blue.. for some reason Finale wouldn't let me open your file, so the new file doesn't contain your variation. You can add it right after mine to get it back in.

I didn't have a lot of time to clean it up. The midi sounds very bad. The bass should be softer in spots.

Got complex pretty quickly.

EDIT: I was all excited to contribute, but the MIDI yields a pile of random-looking notes and accidentals over three staves, and the sib file refuses to be downloaded. Eff it. I shall contribute an adventurous and virtuosic variation later on.

Hey, CA, yours seemed a bit long longer than 4 measure.
I will be next, should I shorten CA's part? I'm justs leaving it as is for now.

I'm going to fix the chain, CA's variation doesn't include blueygh2's variation, so I'm putting them together now.

You can add it in somehow at the end. There was no length requirement, though.

Okay, everythings fixed.

I added mine, it is eight measures instead of four (check the first post, CA), because the original theme was eight measures long.

So I guess away with the itsy bitsy four-bar restriction, then.
