Only a couple, but not for my convenience. These things are turning out good! Use your extra time wisely and know that many others are joining in with very nice pieces!

Hmm, didn't notice the deadline got pushed back, so I ended up not procrastinating ... Anyways, I did some revision mines, and rendered an audio version.

Spanish Rhapsody: 'Scattered Thoughts'

No score yet, all hand-written but I'll write it out in NWC and .pdf it soon.

I didn't intend for this piece to sound so Spanish but it was all downhill after I started doing those dance-y things in the middle. It's more or less ternary if you consider the ADD between the impressionist stuff the B section. The subtitle 'Scattered Thoughts' derives from the aforementioned ADD; normally I'd work more on very smooth transitions but I felt that the abruptness suited the flow of the piece more. Modal (namely Phrygian, Lydian, and Dorian), maybe whole tone scale suggestions, yadda yadda, very impressionist sounding in parts.

The performance is a weency bit shoddy in parts, sorry about spots like the hesitation at 2:11ish. You'd think I'd know the piece perfectly after writing it but nah, once you use that F# G# F# D E F# motif about seven million times it all seems the same.

Anyhow enjoy, I'll work on putting together the score in .pdf.

Score attached, it might look a little funky but it's fine when printed (ugh NWC2 does this weird thing where it offsets the dot of dotted notes when they're on a line; also I can't or don't know how to add the broken chord squiggly, so we'll just pretend).

... I hope I can make this deadline. I can't push it back any further

Note: the previous pushes had nothing to do with me not being able to finish in time as explained above.

Unfortunately despite my good ideas, I'm not going to be able to participate this time. I'll save my ideas for the next rhapsody competition (which won't be for a while, mind you, but they'll be waiting!). The poll should be made by an admin on Monday night.
