That's a shame, leightwing. Don't suppose you'll reconsider, but thought I'd ask anyway.

I'm nearly done with my judging. Just working on some comments for the last piece. I'm judging by including the musical merits as well as the voice-related ones, by the way.

By the way, Nick, did you say somewhere that there were four pieces? I've only received three thus far.

Well, one of the contestants didn't provide a score, only an audio file. I e-mailed him back, asking him to send the score, but he hasn't. So I figured I would wait to send his stuff once I got the score, since most of the judging depends on it. I'll e-mail him again.

I'm afraid contestant number 4 must be disqualified if he does not provide a score by the end of the day. As it stands, I have decided my top 3 finalists (out of 3) and that ruling will stand until I receive another piece to judge.

Not quite sure. I finished a few days ago, not too sure about everyone else.

Care to provide any updates, judges?

I have so far received 2, count 'em, 2 finished judgings! I will PM all the other judges and see what more I can scrounge up. Hopefully we'll have this thing over with at the close of this week.

Alright, I've received 4 judgings total and I figure it's good enough to declare a winner!

Here are the contestants, from 3rd place to winner:

3. DANIEL BARKLEY, with Think Not of It - 63% average

2. ADAMPIANOGUY, with Tristis Est Anima Mea - 80.5% average

and finally,

Winner: MARIUS, with Lover and His Lass - 83% average.

Congratulations to Marius, and good job to all! I'm glad this competition went over well, although I definitely would've liked to see more participation in the end.

I will PM the individual scores and comments to each of the contestants, and the judges each have the option to post in this thread their own full comments for the audience to see. I will post up each contestant's entry as well.

Thanks to all who helped out!

Well done to Marius and adampianoguy.
Thanks to reviewers for the effort.

I would like to know who each of the individual reviews was by though, because one review of mine has made some very elementary theory mistakes, and actually marked me down because he thought I was wrong..

Edit: turns out none of the second voices actually come out.
How embarassing. Oh well - I entered, so I can't complain.
