I wrote a Clarinet Piano Sonatina thing, very minimal, tonal, etc. I want to make a full three movement Sonata out of it, with two contrasting movements. I have started the one, in a quasi-atonal minimalist, rock sort of fashion, and I just sketched out the beggining exposition of a more classically-oriented movement, in which the harmonies will be bitonal and very modern, but the form will be entirely classical and structured Sonata form.
That's where you guys come in. I need suggestions on both of these movements, ideally, but moreso for the 'classical' one. As I've always written in a very free form, I need to know what to do in order to create this movement in a way that honors the sonata form.
Clarinet Sonata mov. 2 is the minimal atonal one and Clarinet Thing is the 'classical' one. (check 'Experimental, Atonal, or Other', and 'Clarinet Sonatina in C' for the first completed movement)
I would be extremely gracious for any help on how to continue these two movements.
