Combining voices in Sibelius

Hi folks-
I am very new to Sibelius- I've imported an older MIDI file of mine that includes a piano in two different channels. I want to combine the two so Sibelius "sees" them as a single instrument, primarily so I can have a proper brace on the left. Right now, Sibelius will only brace a single staff, not both.

My first piece of advice would be to create a new piano staff and just copy and paste the two instruments you have. That's assuming one staff you imported is treble and the other is bass. Just go to instruments and layout, add instrument, piano. Copy the treble piano part to the treble clef, the bass to the bass.
