So, any thoughts on a new competition? I was late on the last one and would really like to get into one.

Yeah...patience is best. The Film music Competition isn't even over yet...we should wait at least until the winner is announced.

Doesn't mean we can't start discussing a new one, though does it?

Planning ahead, and all?

yep, planning. Also I must have misunderstood the other posts in the film music thread. I thought the winner was announced when they ranked the top 5. I guess they were just finalists?

An easy one would be a choral competition. Anybody here sing in a choir?

Hmm, I could handle a choral competition.

Never written for chorus, but would be a nice initiative.

It would be realistic as well. We could probably get somebody here who sings in a choir to get a recording of it as a prize.

Any thoughts from the judges?

Wow---why did I never think of that? A choral competition would be excellent. In fact, it might be an excuse to get me to finish writing the choral piece I started a month ago!

Let's get some more specifics first.
