It's really not fair to let some competitors get a head start in the next competition, when other composers may be busy writing/finishing up their piece for the current one. I urge we wait 'til this one is completely wrapped up before we draft anymore guidelines or ideas for the next one.

I'm pretty sure if we did that, then you'd be competing against yourself. Good luck and may the best man win.

Hey Nick I think maybe we should have everything ready and also the admin team should maybe work on the first post in the new competition topic, but not tell anyone. It would be best, this way once this one is over we have all ideas out on the table and can just post the topic to let everyone know what the admin team has decided we will do.

Really, i don't think it matters WHEN it starts, because if it's a chamber ensemble competition, i'm in, whenever. And I doubt that it should be posted right after. what's the rush? you can start, and sign up when it's posted.

Just wait until this current competition is over, like Nick said.
Thanks.

Lol sorry for my unnecessary haste, it's just every time I return here I always miss the deadline and the previous competition was an example of that.. I just can't wait each day for it to begin .. I apologize.

Well, the deadline for the Choral competition is Wednesday. So hopefully, with flux in the hands of the judges, the competition will be wrapped up in less than two weeks. If you want to send me your e-mail, I will be glad to let you know when we begin the next competition.

Thank you, my email address is megashock21@yahoo.com. Also we should start up a newsletter here at YC, to be emailed maybe 1/wk./month--just a thought.

How is the analysis coming, when are we looking at as a possible estimation for an end date?
