Ah yeah, forgot about this. Any other suggestions? I still think it should be something relatively small, so we have more competitiors.

Yeah, I will be able to participate this time, but only as long as it is quite small...

How about something for a solo instrument?

But I don't think it should be solo instrument. Maybe a duo/duet? I think that would be cool. Maybe it could be something where you get to choose the two instruments (not pre-set) and then go from there.

That's sounds really cool and Y'know what? If you (or someone else) could write up sound guidelines for such a competition then i'd be willing to post it instantly.

Volunteers for judges would be appreciated.


Rules:

THE PROMPT: This competition will be oriented at using any two instruments to create a piece of music. For the competition you should demonstrate a knowledge of the two instruments you are using.

THE ENSEMBLE: Two instruments of any kind.

THE DEADLINE: 23:59 EST JULY 31

A NOTE: Composers must submit NEW MUSIC ONLY.

So yeah, I'm planning on getting the monthly competitions running from August and on. Any suggestions for themes? Would anyone like to run the monthly competitions?
