"...continuous flow followed by perfect cadence..."

Well - this piece is exactly what the title says. Ill just put dotpoint below.
  • It is an improv by me on the piano - but it is not tonal.
  • There is no PDF...obviously. Its very hard to transcribe this piece.
  • There is this constant reverberating sound in the background - that is the ceiling fan.
  • So...would that make it avant garde?
  • It is uploaded on Mediafire...just bare with it.
  • I like it.
  • Yes. Like the title says, the piece is a continous flow of ideas...followed by a perfect cadence. It is random, and you won't miss it.

Its 4MB. Any comments on it, I will eventually write this piece down on paper, so any suggestions on what you dislike about it will be fine.

In MP3 format.

Hey! I thought I was the only crazy one. We gotta exchange some ideas. Check this impro I made some days ago. I really like it, especially the part closest to the ending, but I'm not sure if it would make any sense to others.

Cool! I love it! Not a fan of the cadence though ...

Say, if you played this on a digital piano (I assume you did), isn't there a way to record to MIDI directly? (And MIDI imported to Finale)

Ha yes i did use digital piano. No, i dont have the wires/midibox to do that. I am planning on buying one...its just that they are pretty expensive. 99 bucks...and i dont have that type of money. Haha, and the quality lack is due to three processes:
  • Canon Power Shot - Digital Camera thats sole purpose is to take photos. In other words - a digital camera with video capability.
  • The mic is the size of a needle.
  • I had to convert it to MP3...which makes it slightly less perfect

as to the cadence, yes...i didnt like it either...but hey...it was an improv...and at the time i didnt really think about it

jsoldi - I love your improv...its very good We shuld get ideas together indeed!!! Very nice!
