Convert Finale files to PDF

I tried to see if this topic has already been discussed here but I couldn't find it. But if it has, forgive me for overlooking it.

But anyway, in search for how to turn a .mus file into a .pdf file i came across this website. Thought I'd share it with you.

huh, nice find. I have Acrobat Professional so I'm good, but that should be really nice for those who dont have $500 to blow on PDF software...I wish I knew about that when I didnt have anything.

I actually use doPDF, which he doesn't mention in that article. It's not as concise as CutePDF for resolution choices and stuff, but CutePDF started randomly crashing my Finale after a month or two of use. I have Finale 2002, so maybe it would be fine with newer versions.

And to respond to your concern, I don't think there has been a bonified discussion topic on this, but I as well as others have directed many a curious member in their own posts to such converters when they needed it.

I still think we should have a sticky thread on PDF converters and a general synopsis on recording MP3's and file hosting so we don't get so many generalized questions around here sparking up so often.

I think a sticky thread would be great. And it should note that on a Mac no extra software is needed as "Save as PDF" is an option in the printer selection (or whatever the exact process is). I have a PC so it took me a while to help a Mac user create PDF's - a sticky thread would have speeded up the process - the initial try was to look for CutePDF for a Mac .
