Disastro di mente/Syrah's mind

Hello people.

This is Disastro di mente(Syrah's mind for those that heard it in one of the competitions of CGEmpire). What I tried to bring here is the sense of a innocent person with mental problems, in the way of feeling disturbed in the mind. Err... Don't know what else to say right now.

Anyway, I hope I posted this in the right place! Since the competition was to create music for the image of a character from a video game.

Syrah was a foxy lady. What made you think she had mental problems? Although, I may have mental problems for calling a drawing a fox lady.

I think you acheived what you set out for and enjoyed this.

Haha, the reason of why I submit this for that competition is because I had problems with my original entry. It was going to be more of a battle music with sweet and heavy touch representing her good side and her rude side, at least of what I was sensing of the image.

I ended with 5 pieces or so that were sketches. Each one was over 4mins and none of those were really what I wanted for represent her even if they were sounding quite nice.
So the day before the deadline(if I am not wrong) I got distracted working on this piece which distracted me completely. For the day of the deadline I was trying to come with something for the image but everything I was doing it was evoking something different so I decided to use this piece as my entry representing her mind. :b

What contest is this for? I thought it sounded great! I would buy this song if it was on itunes. It reminds me of John William's "Harry Potter" and Danny Elfman's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", two scores I really admire. I am a huge fan of chimes, bells, and glockenspiels, and I thought it was really cool and creepy!

The contest is from CGEmpire. Nikolas is who organize it and he announce it here on this forum also. Great prizes always!

Thanks for your comment and thanks to Rolifer too.
