Dolphin Race

Here's a dolphin race for orchestra. I used: glockenspiel, piano, strings, trumpet, horn, snare drum, flutes.

It sounds like video game music for children.

The harmony is kind of innovative as it uses a long descending run in the melody while the harmony changes drastically. I used sequences.

I first named it Airship but thought a race sounded better.

Hamauzu is really recognizable here.

The first thing I suggest is that you find a new site to host your music. A place like boxnet will allow me to download a 5 mb piece in about 2-3 seconds. It took me around 10 minutes to download this. That is why no one is commenting (that and people here don't comment much anyway).

This fits Dolphins well, but not dolphins racing. JMHO

I wrote a whole bunch of other stuff but hit a wrong button somewhere and it didn't post and I am not going to wait another 10 minutes to download this one again. Sorry

Ron

No prob from me on d/l time, but the midi was all in piano.

No matter, it still sounded pretty killer. Very 80s videogame, I liked it. The only thing is that you might want to resolve the last chord differently.

Nice work
