So far I've been writing this for two separate keyboards, like (continuo) organ and harpsichord or harpsichord and piano. I was wondering, however, if I could simply make it a four hands piece for a single keyboard? Do four-hands keyboard pieces count as duets?

The brief does state ''2 instruments of any kind..'' so I don't think that would be possible/fair...

Also; RM Clarinet, Beethoven and Violinfiddler - we've decided to not endorse any of you as judges. Sorry. Would you still like to remain a competitor, Violinfiddler? Or should I take you off the list?

OK, thanks, I was just wondering. I'll write for two different keyboard instruments.

Me! Me! pick me!

I'll be a judge... I'm not really up for composing a duet... it's not my style.. but I'll certainly judge them. I have grade 2 music theory and some compositions that I have yet to upload to validate my composerdom...(how CONVENIENT...)

But I do love to judge

thanks

Upload the compositions, then, and we'll see.

Well, I would like to do it, but there is no garuntee that I will come up with anything by then, can I wait a couple of weeks before withdrawing?

So long as you actually tell us before the deadline that you're withdrawing (if you end up doing so), I wouldn't imagine there'd be a problem.

Of course, it would be vastly preferable if you could avoid withdrawing. Otherwise, these participant lists can be construed to mean very little. That isn't terribly good for our competitions system!

Yeah, that's why I want to wait a couple of weeks yet. But I'll let you or Anders know if I do end up withdrawing.

One question, where and who do I submit/give my piece to?
