Duty Calls

Hey guys

Been a while since I posted a piece up or even finished a piece, but here is my latest one. I wrote it relatively quickly as BGM to a Call of Duty 4 trailer that we had to redesign sound for as part of my Games Design course.

Luke Stephenson - Composer

The latest piece should load up as Duty Calls, any problems playing let me know. Thoughts and suggestions appreciated for the future as usual, hopefully from now on everything I do will be higher quality as I have Cubase 4 properly installed and functioning.

Fox.

Wow!

I really liked it. I'm assuming this is for a war game? (I don't know many video games so hopefully that wasn't a stupid question.) It sounds very epic and trailer-like. I'm a big fan of the low brass stuff and the build up to the end. That probably isn't very helpful, but I find it's always good to know someone enjoyed your piece.

^ Thanks for that, H2I! Yeah, Call of Duty 4 is a war game so it's good to know I've got the mood right at least!!

Hey Fox I liked the piece but by the end the snare drums were really starting to annoy me. Perhaps you could add in a taiko or some other drum just to vary it a little. Also I think that the textures could be thickened up a little.

Still definitely a good piece,

Chris
