I'd like to be an editor. Writing is easy - it's having something worth saying that is hard. Over the years I have been encouraging friends and family to compose - it's a lot easier these days with computers. And a site like YC.

Although I have not been here long (4 months), I have tried to be active and helpful. I am interested in being an editor. One article every two months I can do in my sleep. But of course the articles will be more interesting and more enlightening if done with my usual professionalism, humor and wit.

Just out of curiosity, will I be paid a million dollars a week or a month? And will that be in cash or gold?

Seriously, I speekee and writee reel good and me wants the job.

With all that said, I throw my hat in the ring and await with unending anticipation, your wise and just decision.

And all without having to leave the comfort of YC.
I will do my best to assist in this department, I am a multi-instrumentalist and am well-researched. I already fixed a few articles, including a rewrite of the one on the Euphonium horn. Do note that I am not interesting in becoming an editor, just helping out a little!

I'd be happy to work as an editor. Although since Anders left, who is in charge?

Of the wiki? Mike, Hillary and I. Well, I think we're the only sysops now.

That would depend if Mike or Chopin have seen it yet.

Not being processed yet, Sapphire, since the staff (including the editors) are not yet discussing it. I have a million and one things to do at the moment, that particular thing will happen quite shortly.

I would consider myself privileged to be an editor on this site. My editing/writing background is relatively good, I have done editing work for friends and a school newsletter. Also have worked with the owner of Music-Web on various articles and the former wiki homepage. As for writing, I love to write about music, and could definitely turn out an article at least every couple weeks. I have a lot of varied knowledge that could definitely improve the store of articles currently available.

Thanks for the opportunity!

Alex

P.S. I would also love to write some of those wanted pages.
