EWQLSO Silver edition and GPO work with Sony Acid Music Studio

Like Sibelius 4.1 I like how Acid music studio is easy to work with as a sequencer. I starting to work with a group in college that does student films. So now I looking for a sound library that will give me close to the real thing since are budget and deadlines dont give enough time to record live.

1 I should ask would EWQLSO and GPO work with Sony ACID which runs VSTi and VST (but no automation) but no multi port vsti. If not what would a good sequencer be?

2 While I like what I hear about EWQLSO Gold and think it's a great deal I'm reluctant to go over $200 as of right now so between EWQLSO Silver and GPO which will give me closest to real Hollywood/film sound?

Definitely EWQLSO Silver over GPO. You'll get more samples and the overall quality seems to be a bit higher than GPO. One thing to note however- GPO has a nice integrated playback feature with Finale. EW doesn't, so you do have to know how and when to use which sample. So, depending on whether you want to learn that or not might be a good deciding factor. If you're looking for a realistic, Hollywood sound then EW will not let you down.

With regards to your first question- I use EW samples with Logic, Pro Tools and Sonar. If you have any questions about using EW with any of those programs let me know! I don't use it with Acid so I'll leave that for someone else to respond to. I'd hate to give you misinformation.
