No, I happen to like the left hand.
I was merely saying that if you did not like the overall atmosphere your piece created, when you revamp it, the left hand is probably one of the most contributing factors to the 'carnival ride' feel.

one of my pet peeves about my compositions are that they sound so often very erm, extroverted. hmm. too joyous and happy.

and obviously you can imagine how upset i felt when a friend described my music as "kindergarden" music. (pre-school, yeah).
