Fading Sleep (A new Day) - String Orchestra

Out of boredom, I wrote a string quintet.
Sounds like some composer to me, maybe a little Vivaldi.

Any comments welcome.

lol. Out of boredom, I listened to your quintet.
It does sound slightly like something I might have heard before... hmm....

I found it to be a little redundant...
lol. Sounds like something I might try to write if I were bored. (not sure what this implies... )

Thanks for listening.
Something you might try if you were bored? Interesting.

It's redundant, true. And to me it sounds as though I had heard it as well... strange...

Very smooth and tranquil. There was a thread started by SSC in the Composer's Headquarters forum on "What is a rather (but not really) average piece?" I think this piece is just that - nothing disturbing, nothing wrong, just pleasant and reminiscent of many pieces.

I can see it being played (live musicians of course) in a posh restaurant along with Mozart and Strauss.

What an honour, Mozart and Strauss, and me...
And that at a posh restaurant...
