This is some dumb idea I got, to arrange one of the themes from "Tetris" from the gameboy game...

Ensemble is: Piccolo, Flute, Oboe, English Horn, Bassoon, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Soprano Sax, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, and Baritone Sax. Yea, pretty weird.

Not really any techniques used... I haven't altered the melody at all, I'm just altering the underlying parts, though eventually the melody will probably change.

I've worked like an hour or so on it? Maybe? Not long, certainly.

Its just a little over 2 mins long so far.

Oh dear...

I like the way you've arranged this, actually, hehehe. Brings back many memories of wasted hours screaming as the pieces piled up.

My favourite bit is the bit that starts at 0:28. Funny.

Isn't this theme by Tchaikovsky?

Pretty cool arrangement, I think some Marching Bands would be interested in this as a Stands Tune. I spent a lot of my earlier days as a composer arranging such things! Very entertaining.

Hey, thanks for the comments!

I don't know why I arranged this, it was just a very random idea I got but hey, its fun and it works so why not?

I love it!

Some of the harmonies (especially nearing the end) sounded strained, like you were getting a little tired or something. Not a big thing, but something in the upper woodwinds clashed with the main melody in measure 100 with the Bb out of nowhere.

I like the section from 17-32. It sounds so reserved, yet it metamorphasizes () into something big and vaguely ominous- like the weight I feel when the blocks are at the top of the screen and there's no way for me to win... Listening to this is seriously psychologically straining (but insanely fun!). I feel the need to get up and dance around, but I'd probably scare my dogs.

The single clarinet in the beginning is a nice touch. It sort of prepares me for what is to come.

Overall, I'd say that you did a very nice job on this, especially for a little over an hour (I'm assuming, since you updated it). Keep up the good work!
