This is a very short piece, which is too bad. The main theme was very nice. I think you could have used all four flutes for a little more than accompaniment. Please never use parallel fifths. You can have an interval of a fifth followed by any other interval in the two closest voices except the fifth. If you could lengthen it and get rid of the parallel fifths, I'm sure it could be a great piece

I think it's a nice little piece you have here. It indeed is a bit short though. I realy like the way the bass flute enters in m. 6. The main theme is good. You could enlarge the middle section. Also the half notes at measure 26-28 link back to the main theme and therefore this middle part isn't very distinctive. I never realy lose the impression of the main theme. The middle part doesn't alter the feeling of the main theme for me. The variation of the main theme when it reenters is realy nice though. I indeed think you can make something nice out of it, but right now it's lacking a bit.

I think parallel fifths were as a rule for barokian composers in counterpointal compositions. I don't think you should try to avoid them at any cost. If it suits your idea for the piece then use them, otherwise don't. It's not a strict rule, more an point of caution imo.
