Favorite Free VSTi synths?

I think my favorite is Karnage, anyone have favorite or creative sounding synths you love to use?

Any of you guys seen synthmaker? Its a free program that came with one of the computer music magazines.. Its quite a bit of fun..

I like the u-he zebra, i've tweaked some of the pads and used it to back up some of my native instrument synths, like absynth.. It makes some interesting textures

Crystal also has some interesting sounds and fx.
