Figured Bass 2

This one's incredibly short, so for a challenge, try and develop it into something like a 16 bar short piece using that harmony a base.

I'll try and have something up by the end of tomorrow night.

That was kind of short. I threw this together - it sounds pretty decent... I took some liberties going around some different pitch centers. Don't know if that's what you had in mind, but given that the example is only 3 bars long, I just did some sequencing and such... The ending sucks, but I didn't feel like spending the time going around the circle of 5ths to get back to C... The material until then is good though...

Nice to see a secondary dominant example though...

Put up a long one...

liked it glassworks, only when i imported it into finale did i notice that it was for a wind quartet, which I liked
I have a bit of a thing for secondary dominants, hehe

I'll try and post a long one when i can, need to think of some nice harmony to base it on first, feel free to post one yourself if you want to

Oh well... I don't want to re-do it. So I'll post it as 6/3

I didn't really intend for it to be for a wind quartet, I just set up a score for 2 treble clefs and 2 bass clefs so that I could have 4 independent voices. I don't think that the ranges would work for the instrumentation the sequencer lists, so I guess you can consider it an open score for whatever instruments can handle the range...

I'll see if I can't post one from my theory book on Tuesday. I have to go to the lab to do pdfs/image work... Ready for some Neopolitans?

Not sure what you mean? Do you mean at Figured Bass 1? Or try it again using 6/4?

Figured Bass 3 - (Neopolitan)

Here's the neopolitan example as promised. If someone could make the finale file into a JPG and post it, that would be great. I don't have that function on 2001...
