First half of a Metal Piece

Well, it was supposed to be metal, didn't exactly work that way... And I have a band I was making it for, whoops. Anyway, not sure where to go from here, any ideas? Also it needs to sound a little darker than I made it...

LOL you're right it didn't really turn out metal. My advice, rewrite the guitar part ( I think it is the guitar) and write in a harmonic minor scale. Have dual guitars one playing an octave or a 5th higher than the other and have them play the name stuff. You might also want to rewrite the drum, sounds um weak. It cold work with 80's style music, but if they are death metal, grindscore, or anything modern, it probably wouldn't jive with them.

Haha, if we were deathcore there would be no way I'd ask this forum for advice. That sort of thing isn't my style at all, we're sort of a Power/Classic Metal fusion right now, so I just miiight be fine.

I had forgotten to mention that the drum part.. I didn't write it, it's from another MIDI, and is only there as filler space. Our drummer won't play that exactly as written, he'd do whatever he wanted to it, which normally happens with drummers.

And yeah, I'm looking now to change the rhythms mostly, they're all very dull, I'm not too fond of any of the guitar parts right now.
