A picture that illustrates the range and sound qualities, in each specific part of the instruments range, would be a good idea to have in all articles concerning instruments.

I've added such an illustration. Actually, I've added the ones for oboe, clarinet, and bassoon articles as well. All images courtesy Qccowboy - he had them in his masterclass on orchestration.
