Futuristic, Sci-fi-Esque, Obligatory Alien Club Scene (with nudity), Dance Music

YouTube - Futuristic, Sci-fi Dance Music - Alex McGery

Detailed explanation of music to be found within.

I decided to put this on youtube as a quick and shameless publicity stunt! Also there's a lot of people who enjoy this kind of music floating around in the far recesses of the tube, so this is a gift to them! Also if you played Deus Ex and enjoyed it, then hopefully this will appeal to you..

Comments and criticisms welcome, hope you enjoy!

Also, apology for lack of score, but I don't think it's really necassary for this piece.

Oh and there's no nudity... but at least that got your attention..

I really liked this. It's not something I would listen to all of the time, but it was some seriously cool background noise. The production sounds pretty damned good, I hope you got an A in Music-Tech?

I second everything Mark said. Very professionally produced and enjoyable, even though it's not the kind of music I listen to usually. As "stand-alone" music I'd find it too repetitive, but since it's supposed to be music for a game I think it would work well.

Oh, and Deus Ex rocks!

Yea It's not the kind of thing I'd listen to all the time either, but it'd fit nicely as game music. I didn't get an A in music tech actually, and no I don't want to talk about it! (But I at least got an A for composition...)

I agree. If I were to produce this as a stand-alone piece intended to be used in the dance clubs of the future for example, I'd add a little bit more 'intrigue' and perhaps a couple more 'developmental' sections.

Thanks for commenting and I'm glad you liked it! Now please log into your youtube accounts and give me 5 star reviews; is that too much to ask!?!

Btw Deus Ex 3 is coming out... maybe If I send them my work I can get the job as composer, or failing that sleep my way to the top! Here's to hoping..
