Hiya, I'm new to this forum, but I have been using sibelius for a couple of years now as I did an A2 in music technology.

I've just come up with a tune, complete with a slide guitar in it, but i can't get it to slide accross bars
I've selected the chords i want to use and pressed j to insert the bend instruction, but it still wont play it.

I'm using sibelius 3.
Any help will be appreciated.

Cheers

Scott

Don't be discouraged. It often takes multiple days to get a good response. I would help, but I have absolutely no idea. So no luck there.

Good luck.

If you've put the bend in correctly and it still won't play then I can only assume it is a limitation of the software. All I can suggest is exporting the MIDI from Sibelius and manually inserting the pitch bend using a sequencer.
