You aren't very specific about what you mean with "where". Do you mean in the list of instruments? I don't have PrintMusic (I have the full Finale though), but I don't believe there's a "gong" instrument. You might be best off using something like tubular bells, and just writing "Gong" as the instrument name.

Unless you actually don't mean a gong but a tamtam (i.e. the unpitched instrument), in which case it'd be somewhere in the normal percussion palette. I -really- doubt you can get a good tamtam sound straight out of finale though, without any sample libraries. I never bother myself (I only use Finale for creating scores anyways, not for playback).

Well, where did you last use it?
Did you put it back where it belonged?
Did you lend it to anyone since you last used it?


As was said... a bit more information than simply "where is it" would help.


(and by the way, do you mean a "gong" or a tam-tam? they are two different instruments.)
