Groundwork for war (Ζώννυμι) trailer (video w/recording)
Greetings everybody,

I've been away for a good deal of time, for personal and occupational reasons. I'm back now and I wish to share with you the trailer of a presentation for which I've written the music.

The music is written for piano trio (vn, vc, pf). It is in 4 movements and the duration is approximately 10 minutes. The trailer includes a part of the 3rd movement, Adagio Tumultuoso. It was recorded in the summer of 2007 in Crete.

'Groundwork for war' is an arts installation project (featuring choreography, theatrical performing, painting/photo/scultpure exhibition, video art) to be presented in Athens in April. After the presentation, I will be able to post the music here, as well as share the score.

I'm glad you liked the trailer, the producer/video artist and the choreographer did a good job, I think. I will definitely post the whole work here, after the presentation in April. I hope I will also get some good video footage of the live presentation, as well...

Beautiful piece you have there. Some dissonance that worked very well in context and added some variety, and I love how you've blended the trio together. nice work!

The performance took place in Athens, on April 5&6.

I am very excited since the music got excellent comments from critics and journalists !!! A lot of people wanted to meet me afterwards and congratulate me on the music, so I consider this a great success, since it's the first time I'm presenting my music to a wide audience.

I had proposals for 2 or 3 projects...we'll see...

The whole work will be posted in a separate thread.
