hello, I just found out about this forum and was excited to find a place to share midi compositions.

I've had this one kicking around for a while, I'm not too sure what I should do with it at this point.

Basicly I feel that it is too repetative, I could probably pump out another 9 or 10 riffs but I'm not sure where to go with the acctual song structure.

note: the program I use was a free download, I dont believe there are any ways to include drum tracks.

Hi Qualm, and welcome.

I listend to your piece and i can tell you it sounds pretty rocking even without the drum line, and i can only imagine how great it will be with drums.
Basiacly it does sound too repetitive but it never got really boring, has lots of energy this one. anyway the solo guitar and bass parts are great, but i thoght maybe you could prolong the bass solo. i think it can sound much cooler. and at 0:53 you had a slide down and it just sounded depressing... maybe you can make the slide slower, maybe it'll sound better the ending was not my favorite one... just not a fade-put fan sorry.

Other then that i loved your song and hope to hear more from you!

Hi, I'm a new here too! I like your piece as well.

I think it would be nice if the lead guitar were a little louder, and some of the unisons seemed a little dull to me. Maybe if the bass diverged the second time through or something? I'm also not sure I like the slap bass towards the end when the plucked bass drops out. It seems a little weak.

What program did you write it in? In many programs setting a track to output on MIDI channel 10 will create percussion output.

I agree. I loved the part at 1.26, that was really good.
Well done.
