I liked it lot.
Did you sample it? It sounds quite real.
Good work!

Hi again Virtualshock!
This piece was performed as it sounds, after some initial prayers by the Chinese protestant pastor and the American Bishop. The music filled the big hall where everybody was listening. I will post a video when I get home.
This is a good example that GPO can be used in a real ceremony, and because of all the complicated Episcopal prayers and procedures it was very convenient to have music played on a CD so it could synchronize with the pastor's speech.

Hi again Virtualshock!

Here is a picture of last week's Chinese Funeral!

I'm standing on the left side. Faces have been blackened due to privacy.

The reason I got the opportunity for my "Pavane" to be performed is that I'm married into a Chinese family, now you know

I laughed when I saw the picture. No offense meant, but the way you blacked out their faces was kinda funny. Sorry for being off-topic.

I must say that the video made me feel quite sad.
In some ways I think you focused on the flowers to much, but it doesnt really matter.

All in all

Hi Virtualshock!

I also felt sad, funerals usually are!

After talking to the Bishop I had to leave out most of the video footage due to privacy so I cut out a lot of footage. This is why there are a lot of flowers in the beginning!

This is the second time I compose for funerals, last time was in 1979 at my grand-mother's funeral when my "Lux Aeternam" in c minor was performed.
