Ahhh... what I first did, when I first got that MIDI composerythingy... Errr.

So, yeah. I picked a couple instruments, nothing better to do, and whacked up a tune. Took about forty-five minutes playing it over and over again and tweaking it now and then. I've learned a bit since then.

EDIT: Screwed something up in it. Repost.

wow it is very nice! loved! has some oriental flavour, so interesting and charming! the play of the upper voices is very dynamic and effective and you have a good sense for exotique harmonies. lovely, appealing and very musical job, i cant stop listening and feel terribly compelled to start dancing right now!

keep composing!!!!!

sounds like something out of a Legend of Zelda spoof

kind of weird, but appealing nonetheless!

Very nice. I really liked the ostinato do-sol thing going on in what sounded to me like a harpsichord. It really adds some extra strength to the piece. Very good choice of instruments, also. This is certainly a piece that lends itself to a woodwind sound. I would suggest continuing. It's such a loaded piece and it leaves so much room to be developed. Run wild with it! Or, leave it as it is. You're the composer.
