here the midi... as you will see, it is unplayable maybe you will notice also some slight differences regarding the mp3 for i did 8 versions of this piece and can't remember which one i used for the mp3...

Frantz, your music always intrigues me. This has rather modern harmonic elements, yet rhythmically and melodically seems to have its roots in Ars Nova.

When I checked out the MIDI, I was puzzled by what I heard. It was a piano patch, so it was easier to hear what was happening. There were a lot of octaves going on...were trying to write organ registrations into the piece?

thanks Lee! Ars Nova is a style which i really love and for sure it is a major influence on my work.

as this piece it was originally intended for the organ. the piano version is just for clearer understanding of the writting, and it gives a wrong idea about the piece as it lacks the nice mess of sound which "my" organ can create and that is important part of the final effect. so the octaves are there for adding brilliance and richness and a sensation of fullness and power.
