Smile Imagination

One of my soulpop productions from the 80s.
(It's only half of the mp3, it's on vinyl so I will have to buy a LP rec player later to convert the whole song to wav).

We all rehearsed the song for about 1 week, then we decided to go into the studio.
We did a first try...not satisfactory, then we tried a second time... much better... all the members of the band were inspired, warmed up and in perfect harmony... we recorded the instrumental parts in "one take".
I did the additional vocals... main song voice + 3 voice choirs + tamburin.

We were all very happy and satisfied after the one take (to record whole piece without interuption).
One take is a term used in the studio world and was created by the famous Ray Charles.
I will soon upload a jgp of the vinyl 45 record, later I will convert the material to a wav file. Later I'll post the mp3.
Unfortunately the mp3 stops before Max has his fantastic heroic guitarsolo in the Steve Ray Vaughan style....

Have fun
Fredrik

Bloody hell that first chord made me jump!

This is not really my music, but oh well. I find the comp. just too over used, although it is a very catch melody and rather nice harmonic progression. Sounds just like Vinyl 107.5 Radio

Just wondering, this is a lyrical piece, why not post the lyric too!
