Instrumental Pop/Rock Song (First Attempt)

First of all, there aren't lyrics. This is my first try at a more popular genre, unlike Video game music, I really had no experience at all in this genre. I wanted to try composing in all genres, so this is my Pop/Rock one. The melody was re-used and remixed from one of my older VG compositions. Tell me what you think.....

Sorry for the double post, but still no comments? Worked hard on this, obviously the name of the thread wasn't appealing, but I still need some comments....

Firstly I'd like to say congrats. You made a great pop song.

Are you gonna put singing to it? I think it would benifite alot.

The piano is a bit loud and the strings could gain some more volume.

At 2:00 it feels great.

Its a little on the short side. If you can someway make it about 3:30-4:00 I think it would be better. It felt awkward ending so soon, I think maybe develop it a bit more before 2:00. Thats it though. Congrats

Finally, a comment, and a nice one to, kinda. I'm don't think I will put in vocals anytime soon, because I don't have a mic and I don't know anyone who will sing or write lyrics for it, but I will add on to it. I purposely didn't work too hard on it, just in case I was bad at composing pop/rock songs. But since you said it was good, I guess I'll add more to it. Thanks.

i like it, and i think it would benefit from having vocals.
it sounds a lot like "where'd you go" by fort minor...

i hope you'll keep writing more pop/rock songs! this was a wonderful first attempt!
