Irregular time

Its a challenge of my own design.
The goal: to write a piece, with at least to staves per system (ie. a solo piano OR a flute and clarinet) using only the following time signatures -

3/8,5/8,7/8,11/8,13/8

You may use the time signatures freely, change them where you like, but it must never use a time signature not listed.

At the top of your work, and every time the time changes, please indicate the counting (ie. for a 5/8 bar you could do 2+3 or 3+2).

You may use any key, style, instrument(s) (including voice), dynamics, tempo and, musical form.

REMEMBER: only the listed time signatures and at least 2 staves!

This is totally for fun, but I was playing around with the idea of 11/8 the other day and really liked it.

I would like to have everyones in by MAY 14TH.

Please include mp3 or midi as well as PDF or Finale score.

Totally for fun. Just a test of your creativity.

Ooh this looks fun! Here come the Sacre influenced hordes!
Out of curiosity, how were you counting the 11/8 the other day? 3+3+2+3?

maestro3092, don't you think your task is a bit too common? maybe you should add some restrictions, more specific than just a non-regular meter?

I agree with Michael. Those time signatures are um common. Try 17/8 or 91/16th lol

Something that makes your brain hurt.

Or restrict other things.

I find φ/π to be more expressive.

Although most music is in [-4e^(πi)]/4.

DOFTS, 17/8 does hurt

i think i've finally managed to come up with something relatively nice and natural, but the first several attempts where really ugly.

mp3. see pdf attached.

don't know how to figure out the grouping indication properly (like 17=3+3+3+8?), but i think it should be pretty clear to one's ear.
