Island Style Song

Here's an island song I wrote that I'd like some critique on. It's MOSTLY percussion with some saxes here and there. I don't know why but the saxes are off in the MP3 but anyway...

Haha, this one was kinda funny.

The saxes were definately off, and I didn't like it. lol
The percussion needed a little more too it, like woodblock or something.

Honestly I couldn't feel an island feeling to it, I think the saxes threw off the island-ness a lot. But I was very interested in the song overall.

Yeah, it didn't sound that island-y to me. It sounded a lot more marching band/drum core-esque.
I would've chosen a different melody instrument other than saxes....
And I don't think I heard any congas/bongos in the percussion. That would definitely help make it more island-y. [Shameless plug] Check out "Jungle Jam" in my sig....[/shameless plug]
