Come on cut this guy some slack, he said its his first attemt at jazz. I can easily tell why he made it so busy because I am also like that! I can't convince myself when there are too less notes on the paper. I always get the impression that it will be weak. But this was before I mat the music of Miles. So little notes but so much meaning. I am slowly changing in this sense actually.

Alright about your piece:

It must be because of the mixing but the saxophone was way louder than the rest which made it difficult to listen, for me. There was nice interactions between the saxophone and the trombone but due to the mixing it was not clear. I think you should make a better mixing and post it again so people have a more clear idea of the piece. Unless this was what you intended.
