Just need to make sure I'm not missing something.... (EWQL question)

I've been looking at getting a new sample library. I recently bought KH emerald and was pretty unimpressed, so I'm trying something a bit more.... "mainstream"

I just need to know if there's something I'm missing, since as of right now it looks like any product I buy from EWQL will end up costing me an extra 450$ for Kontakt, since all of their products say "Kontakt 2.2 or higher required for use on an intel mac"

It's just kind of like "......"

Yeah, just needed to make sure. I was looking at getting the Complete Composers Collection, but good god what the hell?

Thanks in advance

Edit: Hi everyone, I'm new here. The introduction forum link seems to be dead though.

If you're on an Intel-Mac then yes, it is kinda a sucky deal. However, if your purchase the Complete Composer Collection (or any EW product that ships with Native Instruments) then you'll qualify for a Kontakt 3 Crossgrade which costs about $270. Not much cheaper, but it helps. Some of the packages in the CCC will be upgraded to the Play sampler which will run on an Intel-Mac if you're interested in that.

Check with EW to make sure you know what is and isn't.

Thanks,

Nathan
