Just a Theme

Just a short theme that I thought of. Tell me what you think.
I know it sounds quite thin, ignore the left hand arepeggios; I just put them in to make it sound fuller. I'm just uploading this for opinions on the theme, and the finished work might be for violin and piano.

IMHO, so far, so good. Violin gets a big tick. Interested to see how it turns out.

One small thing – to me, the resolution of the melody from bar 7 into bar 8 felt too final. The line up to that point felt like it wanted to carry on for quite a while longer; landing on the C felt premature. Maybe there are other options to consider at that spot.

Liked the way the second phrase relates to the first. Looking forward to more!!

Sounds ok. Agree with Jada about the resolution at bars 7-8. IMO you should squish the C and G chords from bars 8 & 9 into one bar. Possibly the melody should play a B during the G chord.

Also not sure about bars 14-15. The repeated F in the melody doesn't sound quite right to me... hope that helps
