Las Vegas stage musical writers are looking for a composer

My boyfriend and I are writing a stage musical. I'm writing the book and Ivan is working on the lyrics.

We need someone to compose the score.

Willow Wild synopsis:

Danny, a sixteen year old orphan, is haunted by the loss of his mother. He returns to Boston to seek the truth. While he's visiting her grave, he befriends a girl and with the help of the girl's Governess, he's able to find direction that points to the girl's father. When the father gets wind of the situation, he orders a brown-nosing assistant, Edward, to take care of it. After Edward fails, and Brannigan runs away, the hunt is on for both of them. Danny's caught first, and when Brannigan finds out, she returns to Willow Wild. Secrets are revealed about Danny's mother's murder, but also about Danny himself.

I've written an outline that includes 23 songs. We're going for big. We want a lush, powerful, emotional score to match our story. Something along the lines of Les Miserables and the classic musicals of the 50s and 60s.

We would like to work with someone in the Las Vegas or LA area, but if we can't, then we'll just deal with it.

If you're interested in even talking about the project, please email me.

How about some details on the potential orchestral (or other) forces, and the types of singers you invisage being available for such a project.
This will help you get replies from more suitable people, and give the composer a chance to know what he might be dealing with.

Main female is a soprano. Main female is a tenor. The antagonist is a baritone. All common in musical theatre.

What do you mean by, "potential orchestral (or other) forces"?

I'm knew at this whole composing thing.

I mean I assume it's not all just to be accompanied by a piano? If there would be an orchestra, what size? What instruments? What level (of ability)?

Since it is a stage musical, the orchestra would be small. I'll have to do more research on orchestra sizes. I would assume 10-15 members. They have to fit in that iddy bitty pit.

We wanna go to Broadway, so it needs to meet those standards. That means whoever we choose should have a comprehensive knowledge of musical theatre. An interest in musical theatre would be necessary.

Hi! I have e-mailed you. I am very interested in the project, and musical theater in general. Hope the search goes well.
