The Legend Sleepy Hollow - Ballet

Greetings YC folk.

Last night, I was inspired to start writing a Ballet. Woot. So I went through my huge fairy tale collection (always a good place to find inspiration) and I came across the Washington Irving story, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
So I sat at the piano, and read the first 2 pages...in which I came up with the motif for this piece. I popped on to finale today, and turned the motif into the PDF and Midi and .MUS files that are available for you today.

I just want you to have a look at it, and see what you think. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated, but even still I dont mind if you just want to watch the progress.

Heres an Excerpt which i got this inspiration from:
"...there is a little valley, or rather a lap of land, among high hills, which is one of the quietest places in the whole world. A small brook glides through it, with just murmur enough to lull one to repose, and the occasionl whistle of a quail or tapping of a woodpecker are almost the only sounds that ever break in upon the uniform tranquility.
...a drowsy, dreamy influence seems to hang over the land and to pervade the very atmostphere...

So have a look, and sorry about the midi. I would post an MP3, but it's only a piano reduction. There are notes on the score itself.

WARNING - THE SCORE IS MESSY!!!

... a week later ... no replies? Anyhow, looks OK to me. I caught a look of concern on one of the ballerinas' faces: third beat of bar 6. Should she have eaten that chicken that'd been sitting in the fridge ... or am I imagining things? Nevertheless, all is well again by bar 7.

Greetings from sunny Sydney. Watching the progress ... after I nick down to Coogee Beach for a late lunch!

haha, well at this point in time, in the score...the ballerina is not on stage. Its like...a prelude...this is setting the scene, eventually the image im trying to paint will come to life, and two ballerinas acting as the birds in the forest will come out and flitter about for a few bars...blah blah blah.
i had no idea what you were on about when u mentioned a chicken hahaha, but it made me laugh
Thanks for bieng the first and only to reply.

AND WOOT...GO AUSTALIA!!!
I havent been to coogie beach before.

Not much to work with, but I can see theres an idea here. I think you could really take this and go far. I think its great that you want to write ballets, we need some new ones in this world!! I plan to write one one day. Hey, if this ever get produced for the stage, call my friend Julia, loves to choregraph, (LOVES Prokofiev). haha.
Well, can't wait to here the rest.
