Looks like a fairly decent site - you could use it as your easy reference for doing these.
I disagree with him on some points, but they're *very* minor, and it's to do with interpretation of principles, rather than "fixed rules".
In minor, you use the minor seventh when the bass is descending by step from the tonic to the minor 6th. This is the only time you should use it.
If the minor seventh be in the top voice, it necessitates a modulation to the relative major, and these exercises are much too short for that. You are allowed to do it though, provided you take care in defining each of the keys.
In the attached example, I have demonstrated when you can use it.
(Nota bene, the example is not intended to be a full exercise; it is merely to illustrate the use of the minor 7th.)
