Lessons with Rkmajora

Will you do me a favor and post up a sample of your work so far?

Thanks.

Thanks much for accepting . I'm thinking of compiling something just for this lesson. So what would be the best style for you that I should post a work for? Name a piece of music for instance that you would prefer to be a base for our lessons (or generally just a base for my sample.)

The only reason I say and ask this is because everything currently that I am able to post is abstract and incomplete. Most of what I have for this lesson are simply melodic ideas with no orchestral construction. Also, I am very flexible with composition and I don't want to throw a whole mix of genres at you. I would like to keep it simple for now. So the best way in all honesty is to be as specific as you can.

Well, the thing is, it's really not up to me. My job as a teacher is to help you find avenues through which you can most easily, clearly, and convincingly express your musical ideas and aesthetic.

So, post your favorite abstract, or a style of music you wish you worked in more, or a style you think you could develop further in.
